A real breakthrough. This is the first buddleia to offer two colors on the same bloom panicle -lavender-pink with touches of golden yellow. Trusses arise all summer long against the soft gray-green foliage, reaching a knockout length of up to 10 inches by season's end. Benefits from heavy pruning in late winter to encourage better branching and more blooms.
Compact branched butterfly bush, well-branched to 5-6' x 4-6', in sun to part shade, with blueish-purple flowers in 4-10" long dense clusters, blooms August to September. Great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, and suited to smaller gardens. Perennial in Zones 5-10.
Highly fragrant cranberry blooms are the reddest of any Butterfly Bush. Extra-long plumes with hundreds of tiny blossoms provide rich color to the back of the perennial bed or as a bold accent specimen. Absolutely lives up to its name. Ht: 6-8'. Zones 5-9.
