A female clone of a rare evergreen species of Schisandra, with 2" ovate glossy green leaves marked with silver, that will clamber through small trees or large shrubs, or simply ramble about the ground or over banks. It is the latter method we have chosen for our plant in our bright woodland with humus-rich soil and even moisture, where it has formed a low mounding groundcover. Axillary racemes of yellow flowers appear in early summer and will result in translucent red fruit if a male clone is present.
