An excellent seed strain raised by Joe Eck and Wayne Winterrowd. Candelabra spikes put on a long show of sensationally colored flowers in tones of bright orange, yellow and mauve atop blue-green savoyed foliage. For full sun or very light shade in moist, humus-rich and cool soil.
A seedling strain of the fabulous and reliable Japanese candelabra primula, producing vigorous clumps of spoon-shaped foliage and tall spires of whorled flowers in intense crimson red. Tolerant of extremely wet soil, in sun or partial shade.
Rosettes of grayish, light green spoon-shaped foliage from which arise scapes to 6ö carrying lovely and large flowers of soft pink intricately marked with marvelous multi-colored shadings in the center. As with other show strains, cultivate these in pots in full sun, protecting in autumn from excessive wet and cold.
This lovely and fragrant primrose boasts nodding blossoms in sunset colors of golden yellow aging to orange and red shades. Adds a spot of bright color to the garden. A particularly carefree choice if provided with decent soil and ample water in periods of drought.
