Discovered at Walters Gardens in Michigan from a field of the popular Sedum 'Matrona', this is destined to surpass it in popularity. Both stems and foliage are dramatically darker black-purple. Robust clumps are quickly formed and topped with tall, thick purple stems of 8 inch rosy pink flower heads. Spectacular.
Truly a bold yet tasteful cultivar that produces thousands of tiny blue-green leaves spotted with creamy, buttery white. Extra-large 6 inch clusters of star-shaped, 1/2 inch greenish white flowers with pink carpels follow the fabulous foliage display. We grow this to exceptional effect in containers as well as in a front position in our perennial borders. Full sun and any well-drained soil
A quick spreading ground over with needle-like foliage, it emerges chartreuse, then turns golden yellow in the sun. Midsummer brings clusters of star-shaped yellow blooms, followed by fall leaf color in rich shades of orange and red. Great for containers and hanging baskets, or as an underplanting in the full sun or bright shade garden. Reported to be zone 6 hardy with good drainage.
